  1. they may require being painted to match you vehicle, you'll have less ground clearance you may scrape on large speed bumps they sell some polyurethane kits which are flexible and less likely to crack unlike the common fibber Glass kits but they are some what more expensive.
  2. Well, telling you EVERYTHING would be a little time consuming, so I'll cover the basics. Most bodykits you find won't have any function other than looking unique...or in the case of the cheaper ones...looking ugly. I'd avoid any of the goofy knock off kits with names like "combat" or "bomber" or "shogun" or whatever. They usually seem like a good idea to some people until they get laughed at. The only time you should look into a body kit is if it is made of a lightweight material like carbon fiber, or if it's design is actually a functional aerodynamic system. Also, don't get a wing if you have a front wheel drive...it's not very smart to put a downforce traction device on the trunk of a FWD car...just common sense...lol. Also, avoid any kits that seem too cheap to be true. They usually are, and will crack in cold weather or need a TON of modification to fit correctly. Also, just a tip, but a car with a body kit looks REALLY stupid without a set of wheels and tires to match the look. It also helps if you've done the suspension and the car is lower. I'd do those before worrying about a body kit. It also doesn't hurt to have some bite to back up your bark. Most smart tuners make a car fast before they make it pretty. Just a thought. Hope this helps!
