Advice on car to buy or keep old car?

I drive a Opel Corsa 1.6 sport at the moment, its a small hatchback, smaller then a golf. It is a good reliable car, done 80000km and is a 2003. I have always wanted a e36 bmw, and have come across a mint one with 160000km, a 98, 318is Motorsport,(m3 body kit) It will be more expensive to keep, But i will be happier in it! What should i do??

1. sounds to me (km, gas = one million per liter) like you live "over there". Do yourself a favor: hold onto the car as long as you possibly can then spend your life saving keeping the BMW up with maintenance/repairs... You will be much happier when you realize that keeping your current car and spending your money on something far more important at a later date and time is what really matters.
2. If you can see your way clear financially I would say go for it. Life is short so enjoy what you can when you can.
3. sounds like alot of gas and maintenance expenses. Better to sell your old car and be practical. Dont wait for years and get its value depreciated.
