  1. i'd say if your gonna turbo it put in a fresh si motor because the body as long as its not falling apart is fine but its gonna need a fresh motor if your gonna turbo it if you dont want another si motor i'd try to get your hands on a h22 or something comprable, if you got the cash go to japandirect.com they specialize in selling slightly used, low mileage, japanese racing motors, i bought my b20 off there and its runs great, just a suggestion, hope it works out for you!!
  2. Honda makes an excellent car but with that many miles on it I would not invest a lot of money on modifing that motor. Buy new and then go for it.
  3. If the turbo kit only costs $600/$720, then it's not nearly a full kit. Chances are for that price the kit is very low quality and will end up breaking in the near future. Also for that price, it won't come with all the parts that you'll need to make it reliable, specifically a good engine management system. It would also need to be tuned by a professional if you want the most power out of it, as well as make it reliable. Before doing anything to it, you should also have the engine checked out by a professional to see how healthy it is. Have them do a compression check and leakdown check. That will let you know the condition of the piston rings, how well they seal, and the condition of the valve seals. As for the car. When you buy a modified car, you should always expect things to be wrong with it. If it was such a great car to begin with, the owner probably wouldn't be selling it. There could be mechanical problems, or even worse, electrical problems. Modified cars are usually abused . So make sure to give it a good test drive and have a trusted mechanic check over the car before you purchase it. Your link also doesn't work.
