Does anyone know how reliable these remote car starter kits are?

I found a remote starter kit that also serves as a keyless entry and remote trunk release (Bulldog brand in Sam's Club) for around $100. But before buying it I looked on eBay and there are ones that say they do the same thing going for like $15-50 plus maybe $10-20 for shipping. Does anyone know what brands are reliable and what brands are NOT reliable? Would you buy one off eBay or from a brick-and-mortar store? 1. Remote starters are only 100% reliable if they're factory installed. If you add it yourself, it's not very reliable.
