  1. yes they do.
  2. 1. No they dont, not that I have ever seen but it's possible I suppose. 2. Probably can resurface it, I am assuming a reputable shop is doing the work for you, I would suggest a Luk clutch kit and most reputable shops include in their estimate resurfacing of the flywheel.
  3. im pretty sure it does normally if your ordering it off line then you can look at the discription of it and it will say if it did i guess it just depends.
  4. some may, i've never found one that does. A flywheel can be resurfaced just make sure its ground and not turned
  5. No, you keep your old flywheel. The professional way is to remove the flywheel and have it resurfaced, but I confess as an amateur I have never bothered. Never had a problem with it, either, but it is very important to clean the working surfaces of the flywheel and the new pressure plate with brake cleaner before assembling the clutch. A single greasy fingerprint means trouble.
  6. Resurface the one you have. The kits don't come with one.
  7. no, clutch kits come usually with pressure plate, fiber clutch disc, throw out bearing, and sometimes the pilot shaft bushing (or bearing) located inside the center of flywheel. You NEED to replace all of these parts, and sure, unbolt your flywheel and have it ground or turned, its a must. A NEW wheel would be very expensive, ,a used one from a wreck yard would be ok, but you'd hafta get that turned as well. LASTLY, use a GOOD reputable company for your parts, cheaper knock off stuff will give you clutch jump and shudder (not smooth engagement)and,of course, you WONT know this, until its ALL back together, lol...trust me on this, ive been 'there' a few times. good luck
  8. There are some clutch kits that have a new fly wheel. It will be listed as such on e-bay. If it does not say fly wheel included, it is not there. Most clutch kits include the following: Pressure plate Clutch plate Throw out bearing Pilot bearing Alignment tool As for resurfacing yours, this is the way it is done in most cases. There is a minimum thickness for these, just like for brakes. If there is no major scoring, sometimes all it takes is some crocus cloth treatment to brake the glaze. For the last clutch I did, I ordered a new fly wheel off of e-bay too. In part because the closest machine shop that can turn a fly wheel is four hours away, but mostly to get a lighter weight one. TMI most likely applies.
  9. typically you resurface the old one. all of the kits that i have seen usually have a clutch disk, pressure plate, clutch alignment tool, throw out bearing and a pilot bearing, NEVER a fly wheel.
  10. well it kinda depends high perf application might so they are matched and balanced but normally you just resurface yours and its fine
