Pontiac Body Kits

Help Finding Information on Ferrari/Lamborghini Conversion Kits?

I'm interested in (not necessarily interested in buying..) conversion kits for Ferrari and Lamborghini conversion kits. Particularly something along the lines of a Ferrari F430. So far I've found it very hard to locate a source for purchasing a complete conversion kit, or even parts of a conversion kit for that matter. So my questions are, where can I find some conversion kits? How much would a basic (pretty much just a body kit) kit cost? How much would a complete conversion cost? I see a lot of things saying that a Pontiac Fiero or Toyota MR2 are the best cars to use for many conversions, is that it or are there other cars to choose from? Please only reply if you have a serious answer. Thanks!

  1. i beg beg beg you not to, but the best one i think i believe would be the mr2, http://www.squidoo.com/ferrarimr2kit
  2. It's NOT a conversion kit. The proper term is a "replica kit", because you are NOT getting a real Ferrari, but merely one that LOOKS LIKE it, or a "replica". Here's a source: http://www.superreplicas.org/f430ferrari.html It ain't cheap, and I can't vouch on the results. The reason Fiero and MR2 are good candidates is because they themselves are mid-engine rear-wheel drive cars similar to the car they're replicating.
