Do lift kits have an impact on the gas mileage of a jeep or any car?

Im thinking of getting a lift kit for my jeep wrangler, but the s load of money that im already putting into gas is kind of overwhelming. Therefore, i was wondering if having adding a lift kit will impact on my car's gas mileage.

1. A lift will definitely affect the aerodynamics of your vehicle... As for whether it will *significantly* (that's the key, there) reduce your gas mileage -- well, that's hard to say. I wouldn't expect more than a mile or two at the most incredible most. But if you want a lift, get a lift because you want a lift. Don't get it and then worry about the other ramifications!
2. Nope not even enough for you to notice unless you have a computer. very slight wind resistance. What will effect your mileage a lot is, gearing and tires
