Stage 3 Clutch Kits vs Standard Clutch?

I recently had some problems with my 1990 Nissan 240sx's Clutch. I'm looking to buy a new clutch but my question is. What is the pros and cons of a stage 3 vs a standard clutch? Thanks, -Don

1. A stage three clutch will have too much spring tension for the street. It will either be engaged or disengaged with enough pedal pressure required that you will have a sore leg if in traffic. If you have a highly modified motor and are racing you may want it.
