how difficult is it for a newb to add a body kit to a car?

Hey i just purchased a 2008 yaris hatchback (not the Sport) And it looks kinda plain, i was wondering how difficult it would be to add side skirts and such to make it look a bit less girly... any one have any links and how difficult would it be. I know i need to have it painted (i have a black yaris) thanks for looking

1. the front bumper is not hard to take off at all. (infact you need to remove it to change a headlight bulb). bodykits are a pain to put on, they never fit right, parts need to be sanded down, or fiberglassed or bondo'd on. if you do go with any kit try to get polyurathane. fiberglass cracks easily. and its much easier to handle polyurathane. first test fit the peices, bolts and all, then do your adjustments, sanding etc.. then take the body kit off and paint it then place it back on
2. Go to Pep Boys and go wild.
