How good are clutch kits brought from ebay (F1 and xtr)? I'm putting a clutch in my civic and I thinking of getting one of these F1 or xtr stage 1 clutch kits from ebay. How good are they?

I need a sales pitch when selling standard transmission clutch kits to distributors.? What would be the perfect salespitch or rather approach for one to use when talking to distributors and trying to get them to order their stock from you instead of the company they are ordering from? Has anyone ever heard of a Dee Clutch kit for a Jeep Wrangler? My Jeep has been acting up so I took it in this morning to get a diagnostic on the engine, where I was informed that I would need a new Dee clutch kit and flywheel, with the total of everything being $1500.00. I have been looking up clutch kits online, but I have not been able to find any Dee kits yet, although clutch kits I'm finding for my Wrangler tend to be in the $130 range. Is anyone familar with the Dee kits and does the $1500 sound too steep or about right?

why does the throwout bearing still make noise when i just installed a new clutch kit? prior to installing the new clutch kit the old throwout bearing was making a lot of noise when my foot was released off the clutch. i installed the new clutch kit a few days ago and shortly thereafter the sound came back but not as loud. is it suppose to do that? i got the flywheel resurface and what does it mean to break in the new clutch?

How do I get clutch replaced under warranty? I have a 2005 Nissan w/20k miles under factory warranty. My clutch has started to slip. The dealer says it's a wear and tear item, regardless of the low miles. I called Nissan corporate and they say to keep trying different dealerships. Is it a bad idea to only replace a clutch disc rather than the whole kit,ie new pressure plate, bearing, etc? I have a 94 4-runner that is on it's last legs. I have replaced clutches before and have noticed that most all of the wear is on the clutch disc itself, usually the pressure plate looks fine and the flywheel can be resurfaced if it's needed. A new clutch disc will only cost $50, where a clutch kit would cost $200. The clutch is currently only starting to slip. I am only hoping to get another 15-20 thousand miles out of this vehicle. Have you ever heard of anyone only replacing the clutch disc. I know the answer most people would give is to say that if you take the time to drop the transmission replacing all the parts within a clutch kit will benefit you in the long run. The problem is I don't think this vehicle has a long run ahead of it and I don't want to put any more money into it than I have to. What do you think?

the pilot bearing i got with my clutch kit isnt like the one thats in it now,the one with the kit is a sleave? replacing a clutch on a 95 cherokee and the pilot bearing the kit came with isnt actually a bearing,its a sleave,the orginal one thats in there now is a bearing,perty sure its not the wrong kit,anybody know if jeep might of changed to these sleaves instead of the bearing???
