can you have a lift and car hydraulics? i was wondering about have a lift kit on my tahoe can i also put hydraulic.

Is there any way to Raise your Car with Hydraulics or AirBags without screwing your suspension in the precess? I am considering purchasing a car with a body kit that hasn't lowered or had any mechanical mods (ie. the car runs great cause it hasn't been f**ked with by a kid that doesn't know what their doing) So bodykit looks like it will stop me from going over certain speed bumps in my neighbor hood and else where around my city so i was wondering if there was a way to get hydraulics or air bags that dont alter your current suspension because I have heard that hydraulics expecially will mess with the general "bumpyness" or smoothness of the ride's suspension and i really dont want that soo HELP =)

why won't my car start with clutch pedal pressed? So my car will not start when i press down the clutch pedal, just a few rrr's and then nothing. I can reach underneath the pedal and hold the safety switch, and it will start right up. after its running, there is a winding noise? and when i press the stiff clutch pedal, i immediately feel a vibration in my feet/pedal. I removed the slave cylinder from the trans, started it up, and there is no winding at all. Are my hydaulics messed up? maybe the fork? or t.o. bearing? Please help fellas, btw the car is a 95 Pontiac Trans am, and has brand new (500 miles maybe) hydraulics and clutch kit.

I am not going to be able to buy a really expensive car when I am 16 (I am 14 now) I am probably going to end up driving some really cheap car. I have been looking into cheap cars and I am probably going to get either a 1997 Cadillac De Ville, a 2000 Buick Century or a 2000 Cadillac Seville STS. Since I am getting a crappy car I am going to trick it out, so how much would it cost to get hydraulics installed? What would be some good (loud) speakers to put in it? Where could I get spinners and how much would they cost? how much would it cost to get lowered to the ground? Please include all details like "do it yourself" kits and that kind of stuff If you don't like how you think it would look please keep it to yourself. The reason I don't save the money to put it to a more expensive car is I am going to be buying this my self and I am going to do more and more stuff to it as I get the money

I don't want a back seat at all I will take it out. I want an awesome system in this car, but with it being a small car and no back seat that won't take much. Also heard about something called quick shift where it is like your driving a manual but it auto shifts for you at the perfect time any info on that? I want to make it look awesome with "butterfly" doors, neons, etc. so any ideas on that let me know and take it into consideration when choosing the car. (some cars look really dumb with "butterfly" doors, etc.) Also if you could choose a car I could tune up myself or with a friend. (I don't know too much about cars.) Here is what's most important to me from 1-10 1 - Control 2 - Price 3 - Looks (body kits? butterfly doors? brightest neons out?) 4 - Awesome features (like seeing your speed on the wind shield, different color gages, leds inside the car) 5 - Acceleration 6 - Top speed 7 - system (room for system?) 8 - Not lowered where I kill my neons over a speed bump or a way around it (hydraulics?) 9 - Convertible vs non-convertible? 10 - Rare car ( everyone has a tuned up civic, I would like something that is not so common BUT price is way more important that is why this is number 10) Long answers please and thanks ahead of time! how much would a competition hydrualic kit cost brand new? just a general idea, id take any suggestions too.? i dont own a car yet, but when i do, im puttin hydraulics in it. im probably gonna buy a cutlass, impala, or my dads 53 ford f100. but i just wanna know how much to save, and put aside for hydraulics/batteries,and all the accesories to make it work. thanks guys

How can I stop a Porsche Cayenne Turbo? Hey folks, I have a pre-owned Porsche Cayenne Turbo (2004) with Gemballa suspension lowering kit and ECU (500+ hp). Everything is so fine with the car except one simple detail... The fact that it does not STOP. I have got changed all four brake rotors, brake pads, checked the hydraulics, replaced every damn liquid in the car, but the stopping power is just not there. When I hit the road, the brakes are ok, but when I hit the brakes a bit harder, they just start to fade with heat enough to do a blacksmith's work. Now the brakes are still there, but the pedal feels like there were Ronnie Coleman pushing it back and the hydraulics power-assist does not want to assist me in this. Personally, I don't like using the cockpit as a bodybuilding center... The service says it is my "driving style" that causes this. Well, I want to ask what Porsche thought in building a car that goes well over 275km/h but does not return to 0km/h in an equal amount of time. Now, is there a way to stop it?TY Adding a third party brake mod is not option for me. Wasn't it Porsche who boasted all the way about their "legendary brake-fade test"? If my problem is not related to a mechanical failure or something, and if this brake system is just what Porsche AG offers to its customers, then I would definitely go for another brand and replace the car. I just want to be sure that there is nothing I can do to get it repaired.
