Does anyone know where I can find skill level 3 to 5 on model car kits? I am trying to find model car kits from a skill level of 3 to 5. I have looked online. The only thing I am finding is up to a skill level 2. Also if someone could find me a site where I could buy a model car kit for a chevy camaro 1984 that would be great. It is for a birthday present. How can I cut plastic model car pieces without ruining them? I recently started building scale models of classic cars again for hobby/relaxation purposes. I had an idea to combine pieces from a couple different model kits to make sort of a "frakenstein" cutsom looking truck (a cab from one kit, a bed from another, etc) but a couple pieces, namely the truck bed, would need to be cut a little bit to make them fit together. Flat base coat for car model kit? Hi I am working on a car model kit, a Japanese version. For some parts on the interior it calls for a dark gray acrylic paint and a flat base coat. Do I apply the dark gray first and then wait for it to dry b4 I put on the flat base or do I mix the two together and apply it one time? I noticed that the flat base, when it drys it turns like a powedery white. Why is that and what is the point of the flat base? Where can I find on-line instructions for building a model car? I bought my son a "level 2" model car kit, and the instruction sheet that came with it STINKS!!!!! It just shows a diagram with all these small pieces coming together for a large part of the car. It is extremely frustrating for me and for him! It is a Rides Magazine Custom Collection 2005 Fort GT, by AMT ERTL. I went to their website, and it says they will mail (snail mail) you a copy of the instructions - OH PLEASE!! Anyone ever used the Motorola Bluetooth hands free car kit model 98500? I'm trying to find out that if/when I install this thing in my car stereo, will the music I play on my phone (via mp3's) play through the speakers in my car? If so that would be awesome. I noticed theres a little speaker in the kit, so I'm worried about what that's for? I sure hope the sound doesn't just come out of that, otherwise, what the hell would be the point of connecting it to my stereo?!
